Step 1. How to Install Record Validation

Thank you for your interest in Record Validation! With Record Validation, you gain the ability to validate and format addresses, emails and phone numbers upon editing or insert a record. Let's get started!

Step 1 Install Record Validation from the AppExchange

1.1 Visit the AppExchange and click 'Get it now'.
1.2 Decide if you want to install in Sandbox or Production. 
1.3 Read and confirm the Terms and Conditions and click 'Confirm and Install'. 
1.4 Decide if you want to install for Administrators only, All Users or Specific Profiles.

Administrators only - Only administrators are able to access the Record Validation Setup and Record Validation entry page. 
All Users - All users are able to access the Record Validation Setup and Record Validation Entry page.
Specific Profile - Give a specific profile access at User Level (RV Entry) or Admin Level (RV Entry and RV Setup).

Note that you can always change access level at a later point. 
1.5 Click 'Install'.
You are now ready to configure Record Validation in your Salesforce Organization. Navigate to Step 2.
